Fairly concentrated and very slightly jammy fruit smelling of blackberries with attractive hints of raspberries and root beer spiciness is followed on the palate by balanced flavors high in friendly fruit and rich in oak. The wine sports moderate tannins and a touch of piquant acidity at the finish while carrying its fruit all the way to the end. This perky style of Zinfandel will work well with all manner of pastas in red sauces. GOOD VALUE"
