PRODIGY PROGRAM    VIRTUOSO PROGRAM

    The Prodigy program is designed for the customer who likes to receive a surprise package periodically. It is Zealear Cellars’ Wine Club. Whenever a new wine is released, Prodigy members will receive a bottle. They then have the option to purchase early on, before the wine is sold out through general distribution.

     It is expected that Zealear wines will be released twice each year. The Zinfandel and Syrah will be released in the spring, and the Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir (2005 release date) will be released in the fall.

     All initial orders are discounted at 10%, plus shipping and tax. Re-orders of 6 bottles or more discounted at 15%. Customers interested in purchasing on a prerelease basis, or desiring to order several cases should join our Virtuoso program.

     The concept behind the Prodigy program is to establish a consistent group of connoisseurs who would like to try all of our wines, each year, and have the opportunity to purchase before it is sold out.

     The Virtuoso program is designed for connoisseurs of fine wine, who would like to support Zealear Cellars, purchase wine at a discount, participate in special winery events, and need an excuse to visit Carmel. Virtuoso members will be offered Zealear wines on a prerelease basis for each varietal and vintage, which will ensure that they are able to purchase wine before it is offered for general distribution.

     Participation in the Virtuoso program is based on purchases of Zealear wines. The wines are offered on a prerelease basis with a discount structure based on volume. A purchase of one case receives a 15% discount, a purchase of 2 cases receives a 20% discount, three cases a 25% discount, and 4 cases or more a 30% discount, based on annual purchases. Special offers will be made available to Virtuoso members during the course of the year.

     The concept behind the Virtuoso program is to attract a faithful group of customers, who want to ensure that they receive Zealear Cellars wines each year at a reasonable price. Secondly, the goal is to assemble a collection of “friends of the winery”, who will enjoy sharing the camaraderie of fine wine, in a pastoral setting.
